The Kindness Crew mission is to alleviate isolation and loneliness in communities by providing opportunities to join with others through acts of service, education and celebration.
We are incorporated in the state of Florida and have IRS 501 c 3 status as a charity.
By gathering for social occasions and breaking bread together, we build relationships and find common interests. Everyone works together to make these times special and fun. We have had ice cream socials, dances, pool parties and guest speakers.
We are a self funded club. We ask members to support us with a $25.00/year donation. Our activities are open and we try to keep them free to all residents of the Waterberry Community. Donations are welcome.
Humans are wired for social connection, but we’re becoming more isolated over time. Loneliness and social isolation represent significant threats to individual and societal health and well-being. For more info on combating loneliness click below

Do you like to write cards or letters? Maybe telephone calls or visits are more your style? Either way, the contact crew would be happy to have you join them to spread some cheer and let our neighbors know they are not alone.
Do you like to crochet, knit or quilt? Our blanket brigade has made over 200 baby blankets that have been distributed to US military families overseas and single mothers in Florida. What a blessing you can be to a new family!
During hurricane season, our hurricane helpers are available to help those in need of moving items indoors and closing shutters. If you would like to help, we would like to have you!
